INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES
PLEASE REFER TO THE INFORMATION BELOW TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE CORRECT PROCEDURES TO ENSURE THAT YOU CAN UTILIZE YOUR REGIONAL FUNDING MOST EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY.
The Hercules Tires marketing team is making this funding available to build the Hercules brand across the U.S. We've tried to put the right tools in place to make access to funding easy while ensuring that our investments are tracked, leveraged to the fullest and measured whenever possible. Requests must be approved before committing to spend by the Marketing Department and are subject to review by ATD Finance. We appreciate your partnership in helping us make the most of this new program and welcome any feedback you might have.
The following section outlines the proper procedures for utilizing your regional funds in the most common marketing methods:
POS AND PROMOTIONAL GOODS:
Ordering in-stock point-of-sale and promotional items (shirts, hats, lanyards, etc.) is easy! Simply log in to the Hercules Power Outlet at www.herculespoweroutlet.com and place your order. Your account is pre-loaded with your Hercules promotional funds, so no credit card is necessary. You may also use your promotional fund to purchase “gift codes” (like a gift card) from the Power Outlet. Items can also be special ordered if the Power Outlet doesn't have what you are looking for. Simply contact our promotional partners at Leader Promo to discuss options, obtain pricing and place your order. Leader Promo will apply your special order against your regional fund. TENTS, INFLATABLES, MASCOTS:
These items can also be special ordered through Leader Promo by contacting Deonna Anderson at 614.416.6557; danderson@leaderpromos.com. Since these materials are subject to significant quantity discounts, Leader Promo may e-mail you from time to time if another region is placing an order in an effort to pool orders and get the most competitive pricing.
OUTDOOR SIGNAGE:
The REGIONAL PROMOTIONAL FUND REQUEST FORM should be used to request funding for any Hercules Tires outdoor signage you wish to purchase for your customers. Please submit the form for approval BEFORE placing an order for outdoor signage. Include the customer's business name and address and the sign you would like to purchase (i.e. size, face only or entire cabinet, etc.). The form helps us keep track of orders and manage the process efficiently. Standard 2x6 signs (and configurations using the 2x6 panel) can be ordered AFTER APPROVAL at the following site: https://www.dualite.com/. Username: HERC01 Password: htdealer (both case sensitive). Your Promotional Fund will be billed automatically for these orders unless a credit card is used.
For custom sized signs or sign faces (anything that does not have a 2x6 Hercules sign face would be custom), contact Mike Mullee (513-536-3154 or mmullee@dualite.com) to obtain a quote. If you wish to proceed with the custom sign, please fill out the request form as detailed above. Your Promotional Fund will be billed automatically for these orders.
TIRES:
Using your promo fund tor tires (for sponsorships, event giveaways, etc.) is done a little differently. To request tires, send an email to Tori Joyner (TJoyner@atd.com) and copy Hercules Marketing (hercules.marketing@herculestire.com). Reference the product's Oracle item number, quantity of tires being requested, and the DC location number from which the tires will be removed from inventory. Once Kia and the DC confirm that the tires have been removed from inventory, you may arrange for pick up or delivery. Tires requested via this process are paid for from a separate account - so you can maximize your promotional dollars by following the process outlined above.
EVENTS AND SPONSORSHIPS:
The attached request form should be used to request funding for any event that you attend to represent Hercules Tires or sponsorship by Hercules Tires. Examples include local trade shows, dealer open houses, golf outings, car shows or show cars, professional anglers or race car drivers (not in conflict with Hercules' national sponsorships), etc. It's important that sponsorships be consistent with the positive Hercules brand image we all work hard to cultivate. The fund request tor events should be for all expenses related to the event -i.e. booth space, hot dog buns, bottled water, etc. If funding for a sponsorship is requested, please include an outline of the sponsorship package with the request form. These are subject to prior approval by the Marketing Team.
ADVERTISING:
The attached request form should be used to request funding for any Hercules Tires advertising you wish to purchase, including print ads, digital ads, outdoor, direct mail or other. Please be prepared to provide additional detail regarding the opportunity (i.e. impressions, circulation, expected response rate, etc.) and be sure to allow time for approval of the ad/creative.
